I will be going to Santiago de Compostela tomorrow terribly early in the morning and Im coming back on Saturday evening because my future husband Nicky Wire, and his band, that happens to be my absolutely favourite band of all time, play at the festival.
Although if Im not back Saturday evening, it means my future husband Nicky Wire has taken me to Barcelona and I might be back few days later.
Im trying to fall asleep earlier, waking up at 4.45 to get your flight is not the most pleasant thing ever but I would do anything to see him. It will be the 14th time in my life when I see my future husband Nicky Wire and his band live. Isnt that great?
So a small request to Fedal. If youre planning to announce your relationship tomorrow or on Saturday, could you please hold on few days so I could celebrate the happiness with you?
This is my future husband Nicky Wire. The most gorgeous man that has ever walked this planet. And Im gonna see my baby tomorrow. TOMORROW. FOR THE 4TH TIME THIS YEAR OMG

I don’t know what this is but it’s the best thing i have ever seen and I didnt even edit it
NICKY HAS JUST TWEETED!!! IN SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER

I’m going to
- Hamburg 16/04/2012
- Berlin 24/04/2012
- Prague 25/04/2012
I have already booked the tickets and hostels in Hamburg and Berlin (2 nights in a warm bed will cost me less than 50 euros!).
Now I need to find a reasonable accommodation in Prague as I have my come-back train at 10am on the next day.
I also need to book train tickets in Germany, one to Hamburg and back home and the other one from Berlin to Prague.
I also need to work out the ways from train stations to hostels and concert venues.
Check the objects and places I want to sightsee.
Think of some cool outfits for the gigs.
Work out how to make everything perfect at the university as I’ll be away for about 2 weeks.
Lose some weight so that Nicky can see me and fall in love immediatelly.
Perhaps translate my B.A. essay ‘Tony Blair’s Devolution Reforms in Wales’ into English and give it to Nicky so he can be pround of me.
Find a way how to calm down at the gig and not to faint when I see my Nicky again.
ooh these will be very busy 3 weeks.
I so can’t wait.

no, it was never a secret in my case. why would it be?It was a secret for a long time, but I can’t keep it anymore.
I’ve discussed with my mum. She UNDERSTANDS I need a hostel in Hamburg. She is aware I’m going to Hamburg. She kinda supports the idea of hostel then it means she kinda ACCEPTS me going to Hamburg.
But we haven’t spoken about the hostel in Berlin or Prague. Prague would be cheaper but Berlin would be better.
Decisions decisions.
Lets have some Nicky pics

European tour for me looks like this:
16/04/12 - Markthalle, Hamburg, Germany
24/04/12 - Huxleys, Berlin, Germany
25/04/12 - Lucerna, Prague, Czech Republic
I’ve been to Markthalle last year, the band was absolutely amazing, as they always are. And the venue is fine, not far from the train station. We had a short conversation with Martin Hall before because we love queueing. So excited about this tour, I’ve got to book hostels and trains and check the outfit. So glad to see them again, it’s like a withdrawal syndrome, last year I’ve only seen them once so it’s pretty overwhelming urge to see them as much as possible!
As you can see the Czech gig is on the 1st anniversary of my first encounter with the Manics, and the first live performance I’ve seen. They played 3 songs for the tv, Tolerate, YLAINE and Indian Summer. Yup yup, I was in the front row. oh those memories…
Today is the 4th anniversary since I fell in love with the Manics. I was waiting for my extra English class but I came too early so I went to the newsagents’. They had NME, it’s not a common thing in this country. And it was quite expensive too (stupid exchange rate). Anyway, I saw that NME you can see on the picture and I completely fell in love with those guys on the cover. I didn’t exactly know who they were, but I remembered they used to hang out with the boys from Suede. So I bought the issue. Two months later I met the Manics and Nicky who signed this issue, now it hangs above my bed in a frame, I only open it on the big days like the Anniversary day, Nicky’s birthday, first gig anniversary etc.
But about 1,5 later while browsing old music papers and cds with mp3 shamelessly downloaded from the net I’ve realised that February encounter wasn’t my first with the Manics. They had an interview for a Polish magazine ‘Teraz Rock’ in June 2007 and I’ve read it, even more, I downloaded then GT, EMG, TIMT and SATT. How could I forget them?
But I consider my Anniversary Day as Feb 9th because it’s the day the madness began.
It’s been busy and crazy 4 years, I’ve seen them 10 times live and met my Nicky personally 6 times. James calls me Miss Poland. I have about 20 albums signed (yeah, I boy several copies of each album, different versions, like Japanese, promotional, German etc.). I had an interview with Nicky. I went to see and met Nina Persson because of them (yeah I have YLAINE signed).
All my life spins around that band, I’m a total Nicky-Girl, sending away stuff to see the boys live. You should see my wardrobe, it’s full of leopard print, pink, glittery fluffy stuff. FFS I STUDY POLITICS BECAUSE NICKY STUDIED POLITICS. I wrote my BA essays about Wales. I’ve done things I won’t tell you because people would consider it as a total stalking.
I don’t think I’d ever give up on them. I wouldn’t been able to. Nicky is the love of my life, I’ve never met someone as perfect as him. I just love him and the upcoming European tour proves I love him even more.
I MADE A NICKY BIRTHDAY CAKE!!! LISTENING TO AFTERBLOOM NOW, BEING MAD NICKY FANGIRL - I live for those moments <3
